Puzzling Rosy Slime on Isolated Tasmanian Shoreline Raises Anxiety of Potential Algal Bloom
Authorities in Tasmania are striving to determine a pink slime that has surfaced on a remote shoreline, with certain experts anxious it could be an algae outbreak.
Broad Appearance Along Coastline
The pink-tinged sludge was found on a portion of a coastal area about 60km south of the capital. A comparable ooze has also been documented on sections of another local beach and a separate bay.
