Throughout the evening, Russian aerial assaults have led to power cuts in large parts of the capital city, the Ukrainian capital.
Nine people were hurt while local people in eastern districts were plunged into darkness and dealt with problems to drinking water, according to local authorities.
At the same time, a minor was fatally injured in a distinct assault in the southeastern region in the southern area, based on information from local officials.
Russian forces has intensified attacks on power infrastructure over recent weeks, while Ukrainian leadership has requested "concrete actions" from allies to increase pressure on Moscow.
"What is required is not symbolic gestures but decisive action - from the US, Europe and the G7 - in delivering protection systems and applying sanctions," he wrote in a public message.
He said that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and several dozen missiles targeted Ukraine's energy infrastructure, characterizing such strikes as "strategic and deliberate" and against "critical infrastructure" as temperatures become colder.
Government representatives said Moscow was "inflicting a massive strike" and repair crews were striving to fix the damage.
A series of attacks damaged electrical systems and apartment buildings in the capital.
Several of the people hurt in the assaults on the city have been taken to hospital, according to municipal representatives.
Local officials said the metropolitan region experienced significant strikes during nighttime hours. A young boy was killed and multiple civilians were injured.
The strikes succeed periods of bombing campaigns in the region, sections of which remain under the control of invading troops.
The entire country is in a state of readiness for hypersonic Kinzhal missile strikes, which are more difficult to identify.
Authorities told the media that Moscow was deliberately attempting to damage the national power system, with strikes already disrupting fuel infrastructure.
